He stayed with Mr. Bungle through his 10 years with "

" (1988-1998) and continued with them until 2004.
While with Faith No More
Replaced the singer after their first 2 albums "

We Care a Lot
"(1987)
Sang on their third album "
The Real Thing
"(1989) with minor style tweaks
Became their front man on tour and in videos and shaped what they would become
Known as the man with a thousand voices
Would often sing for Mr. Bungle who would open for Faith No More on the same night
Wrote most of the music and almost all the lyrics for their fourth album "
